Nyaung-U 21 April

Strong winds hit Nyaung-U Township in Mandalay Region on the evening of 20 April and it destroyed two houses in Thaputsu village in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region, according to an official from the Township Fire Services Department. 

Local people in the village provided assistance to the victims. The departmental officials are arranging to give needy assistance to the victims. The Township Fire Services Department is also conducting awareness campign on risks of naturanl disaster and inspection of fire safety, according to the official.
