With the aim of narrowing gaps between rural and urban areas, developmental works are being undertaken in 10 villages in Mrauk-U Township, Rakhine State.
During 2022-2023 FY, the developmental works were conducted with K 10 million each of funds of VDP and public contributions in the villages and now all have been completed by hundred percent.
The works including construction of nine concrete roads and a gravel road were conducted with K 100 million funded by the project and K 20 million contributed by local people.
Now, a total of 8328 people from 1709 households in the villages are now eligible the fruitfulness of the projects.
