Officials led by Chairman of the District Administration Council U Myo Hlaing inspected the storm hit primary school in Letpankwin Village in Kyangin Township of Ayeyarwady Region yesterday morning.

During the inspection tour, Chairman of the District Administration Council accompanied by chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thein Tan and the Township Education officer Daw Htay Htay met with headmaster of Letpankwin B.E.P.S. U Tin Win Naing and community leaders and instructed the officials concerned from the village to reconstruct the schools to be completed in time with the schedule of school opening period. School enrollment week for the 2023-2024 academic year will start from May 23 and last until May 31.

Chairman of the District Administration Council U Myo Hlaing and officials also gave the necessary instruction to responsible officials.—Township IPRD
