Kantbalu 19 May 

Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Kantbalu Township, Sagaing Region is disbursing agricultural loans to farmers in the township starting from May 18. 

The bank disburses the loans at a rate of K 1500,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops. On 18 May, a total of 32 farmers in Ward-4 in the town of Kantbalu received K 16.35 million of agricultural loans for 109 acres of paddy fields. 

The bank disburses the loans at an interest rate of 5 percent and it will favor those who have paid their previous debt. The bank will dispense agricultural loans to the farmers by the end of September.
