With the aim of boosting socio-economic of farmers, a ceremony to disburse agricultural loans to farmers was held at the office of Township Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank Branch in Nyaungdon Township, Ayeyarwady Region on yesterday afternoon. 

During the ceremony, U Aung Kyaw Oo, General Manager of the Township Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank Branch read out the history of the bank and clarified the purposes of the disbursement of loans for farmers. Next, U Thein Htike, deputy General Manager of the bank discussed matters relating to the bank and disbursed Ks. 18.6 million to 27 farmers from Moe Hok village tract for 124 acres of farmland. 

The bank will also dispense Ks. 3000 million of agricultural loans to farmers from 42 village tracts in the Township in 2023, according to the Bank Branch.—Township IPRD
