A collective tree-planting ceremony took place in the compound of Kyanni Lake in Leikhwe Village near Zipin forest reserve in Paunde Township, Bago Region this morning, according to the Township Forest Department. 

 

With the aim of keeping the environment green and maintaining soil and temperature, 35 staff led by U Van Lal Aye Nga, staff officer of the township Forest Department and local people participated in the activity and jointly grew 200 sapling including teak, Padauk, Pyingadoe, Kankaw and Khayay.—Thu Ya Kyi(IPRD)
