Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction work of rural road and slab culvert on the road in Shaukwa Village in Ngape Township of Magway Region this morning. 

 

An earthen road measuring one mile long, 12 ft. wide and nine inches high and a slab culvert measuring 18 ft. long, six ft. wide and six ft. high on the road are being constructed with Ks. 31.4 million allotted by the regional government in this fiscal year and all the projects have been completed by 95 percent. 

 

On the occasion, officials met with members of village development Committee and gave necessary instructions. Once completed, it will benefit 327 acers of farmland of local people from 117 households and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Ahtway(DRD)
