The coordination meeting on livestock farming development in Rakhine State was held at the state government office yesterday morning in Sittway.

 

At the meeting, the state chief minister stressed the im­portance of food security, edu­cation and healthcare services. He also said that, due to the close-up supervision of Union ministers, deputy ministers and senior Tatmadaw officers, reha­bilitation tasks were successful­ly carried out in a short time.

 

Then, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Ir­rigation Dr Aung Gyi explained measures to be taken for the development of the livestock sector in Rakhine State. The secretary of the state govern­ment explained the measures to be taken for the rehabilita­tion of the livestock sector af­fected by the storm. — MNA/ KZW
