A ceremony to honor outstanding students who passed with distinctions and teachers who taught students to pass with high marks in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination was held at the hall of city home in Myawaddy Township, Kayin State on July 11.
First of all, students performed a school song. Then, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Soe Tint delivered an opening speech. Next, the Township Education officer U Myint Oo explained about the pass rate of matriculation examination in 2022-2023 Academic year.
This was followed by the presentation of prizes and certificates of honor to 36 students who passed with distinctions and four teachers who taught students to pass with distinctions in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination.
Under this awards program, students who passed with one distinction received a quarter-tical gold. There are a student who passed with four distinctions, three students who obtained three distinctions, five students who pass with two distinctions and 27 students who pass with one distinction in Myawaddy Township in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination. On the occasion, officials awarded a total of over 14 tical-gold to four teachers and 36 students.
Colonel Tun Tun Lat, battalion commander of Thingan Nyi Naung, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Soe Tint, departmental officials, teachers and students attended the ceremony.—Htein Lin Aung(IPRD)
