A ceremony to honor outstanding students, teachers and schools with high pass rates in 2022--2023 Academic Year’s matriculation examination was held in the town of Mawlamyinegyun, Labutta District of Ayeyarwady Region on July 16.

 

At the event, member-1 of the Township Administration Council presented awards to schools with highest pass rates in the 2022--2023 Academic Year’s matriculation examination.

 

Under this scholar awards program, a student who passed with six distinctions received a gold ring worth Ks. 900000, a student who passed with five distinctions received Ks. 200000, four students who obtained four distinctions received Ks. 100000 each, 49 students who passed with three distinctions received Ks. 50000 each, 64 students who passed with two distinctions received Ks. 30000 each and 137 students who passed with one distinction received Ks. 15000 each and certificates of honor respectively.

 

Awards were also presented to 83 outstanding teachers who made efforts to turn out those students in this academic year’s matriculation examination by officials.—Ye Ko Maung(IPRD)
