With the aim of raising awareness on scourge of drugs and human trafficking among youths, informative talk was held at Ethnic Youth Development Training School of Department of Education and Training under Ministry of Border Affairs in Hngapyawdaw Ward in Pindaya Township, the Danu Self-Administered Zone in Shan State (South) yesterday.
First of all, Police Captain Aye Min gave an opening remark and detailed the disadvantages and scourge of narcotic drugs, offences and penalties for drug cases and preventive measures against drugs.
Afterwards, Police Sub-inspector Win Nyunt Oo from Anti-human Trafficking Police Force discussed the causes of human trafficking and shared knowledge about the preventive measure of human trafficking to students and gave contact phone numbers to attendees.
Afterwards, they distributed pamphlets on the dangers of drugs and human trafficking to teachers and students who attended the event.—Ye Htet Oo(IPRD)
