With the aim of developing agricultural sector in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region, a rural road is being implemented in Kanpyae village in the township during 2023-2024 FY. Now, the construction has been completed by 28 percent.
The road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft in width and one foot and nine inches in volume is being built with K 51.1 million allocated by funds of Union. The project is being conducted by a tender winning company starting from 18 June.
Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 3639 people from 790 households and agricultural products will be delivered to the markets with saving time and money, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
During 2023-2024 FY, a total of four rural roads are being implemented with the funds of Union and Regional Government in Pwintbyu Township.
