Union Health Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win received a delega­tion led by Mr Ramanathan Balakrishnan, Resident Repre­sentative of the United Nations Fund for Population Activities in Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

They discussed matters re­lated to cooperation in the health sector, the provision of drugs and medical supplies for repro­ductive healthcare activities, arrangements for conducting training courses on healthcare development and measures to be taken for maternal and repro­ductive health services in areas affected by Cyclone Mocha.

 

These topics are to be em­bodied in the letter of agreement to be signed between Myan­mar’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Rela­tions and the United Nations Fund for Population Activities. — MNA/KZW
