A ceremony to open and hand over a newly-built school building to Education Department was held at No.(2) Basic Education Primary School in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State this morning.

First of all, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Soe Oo delivered an opening speech. Next, Sayadaw U Nandiya clarified the purposes of the donation of school and then handed over the school donated by Sayadaw U Nandiya from Sidney, Ausdtralia and well-wishers to Department of Education.

The new school which is 30 ft. in length and 27 ft. in width was accepted by the Township Education officer Daw Su Su Htay. Then, Daw Su Su Htay spoke words of thank to donors and presented certificates of honor to them.—Township IPRD
