Htantabin, 27 July

With the aim of creating job, increasing fish resources and promoting fish production, the Department of Fisheries held a fish planting ceremony at the bank of Hlaing River in Ward-4 in Htantabin Township, Yangon Region on July 27.  

On the occasion, Deputy Director of the Region Fisheries Department U Tint Lwin, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Naing Naing Oo, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Phyo Wei Soe, member-2 U Aye Win, Police Major Khin Soe, staff officer of the Township Fisheries Department U Aung Myat Kyaw and members and relevant officials attended the event and released a total of 500,000 fish species from Hlawka into Hlaing River.—Htantabin(IPRD)
