Outpatient department of Nay Pyi Taw Traditional Med­icine Hospital (100-bed) was opened with a ceremony at the National Herbal Garden in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win looked around the patient registration unit, patient examination room and patient treatment room in the outpatient department.

After the officials have pre­sented the conditions of suc­cessful treatment of patients with traditional medicines, the Union Minister stressed the need to use traditional med­icines not only for the treat­ment of COVID-19 but for the other seasonal flu diseases, urging officials for arranging the people to know the good potency of the medicines and for manufacturing the medi­cine on a wider scale.

Next, the Union Minister viewed round the thriving of herbal plants the National Herbal Garden.

The outpatient depart­ment of the hospital opens for treatment from 8 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday. — MNA/KZL
