With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and boosting socio-economic status of the rural people, the construction works of a reinforced concrete bridge on Toechaunglay Creek in Toechaunglay Village of Twantay Township, Yangon Region have been implemented since August, 2022 by a tender winning Company.

A concrete bridge measuring 90 ft. in length, 20 ft. in width and ten ft. in height was constructed with Ks.276.48 million of DRD’s funds for 2022-2023 fiscal year and now, all the projects were completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

The road benefits nearby villages and brings socio-economic development to local people in villages in the Township.—U Myo Hlaing
