A combined team comprising of personnel from the Township General Administration Department, the Township Department of Consumer Affairs and the Township Development Committee sold essential foodstuffs such as edible oil, pork, eggs and vegetables at lower prices for the convenience of the local people in the front of office of Ward-7 Administrator in the town of Pyapon, Ayeyarwady Region, to be able to buy the food they want at a fair price this morning.

Deputy Administrator U Ye Lin Oo, staff officer of the District Department of Consumer Affairs U Min Zaw, Dr. Kyaw Myint from the Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and staff officer of the Township Development Committee Daw Thet Thet Kyu and staff actively participated in the event.

In order to decline commodity prices, foodstuffs are being sold at lower prices in wards and villages in Pyapon Township every Monday. —Aung Win Naing(Pyapon)
