Strong winds hit Kyonpar Village in Thaton Township of Mon State at about 11:30 am on July 31 and damaged six houses.

Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung Aye Khant and members, police members, staff officer of the Township Fire Services Department and members and members of Social Organizations viewed round the houses destroyed by the strong wind and provided necessary assistance to victims of strong wind.

The estimated damage to property destroyed by strong wind was Ks. 2650000. So far, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
