Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Kanma Township, Thayet District, Magway Region is dispensing monsoon agricultural loans to farmers in 52 village-tracts in the township until now.

 

In the morning of 4 August, the bank is disbursing monsoon agricultural loans to 1,328 farmers from Thanpayar village-tract for their 285 acres of monsoon paddy and 13 acres of sesame. It is earmarked to disburse K 3000 million of monsoon agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of monsoon paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops.

 

So far the bank has dispensed K 1013.4 million of monsoon agricultural loans to 2340 farmers from 22 village-tracts for 66440 acres of monsoon paddy and 399 acres of sesame and 75 acres of beans. The farmers in the remaining villages will be disbursed agricultural loans, according to the bank.
