The water level of Thanlwin River has reached 822 centimeters, exceeding its danger mark of 750 centimeters. As a result, water entered into low-lying areas in the town of Hpa-an and members of Township Disaster Management Committee and Fire Services Department helped evacuate the flood victims.
In the town of Hpa-an, a total of five temporary rescue camps for flood victims are being opened and a total of 1366 victims were evacuated at the camps.
