A ceremony to honor outstanding students who passed with distinctions in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination and outstanding teachers who made efforts to turn out those students was held at the Tayza Hall of B.E.H.S. in Betye Town, Kyangin Township, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.
First, students from Betye B.E.H.S. performed a school song. Next, the Town Administrator U Aung Ko Ko delivered an opening speech and gave words of thanks and encouragements to students. Next, headmaster of Betye B.E.H.S. U Khine Myo Zin clarified the purposes of honorary awards for outstanding students.
This was followed by the presentation of awards and certificates of honor to outstanding students. Under this awards program, five students who passed with three distinctions, four students who obtained two distinctions, two students who won one distinction and eight teachers who taught students to pass the exam with high marks received honorary awards respectively.—Township IPRD
