An event to provide cash aid to people whose homes became relocated due to the danger of Irrawady riverbank erosion was held in ward-1 in the town of Myanaung, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday evening.

Under the supervision of chairman of the Township Administration Council U Nay Min Tun and members-2 of the Township Administration Body Major Min Min Soe, responsible persons from the Township Department of Disaster Management and ward Administrator provided over Ks. 539900 for purchasing rice and construction materials to 19 victims of riverbank erosion from five households in Myanaung Township.—Win Bo(IPRD)
