With the aim of delivering enough drinking water in all seasons, a 800 ft deep tube well is being implemented in Pobakan village in Chauk Township, Magway Region during 2023-2024 FY.

The tube well and installation of water pump was conducted with K 28.98 million of funds of Union during 2023-2024 FY.  A water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water, a water plant and water pipeline installation are being conducted with K 22.638 million of funds of Union by tender winning company starting from third week of July.

Now, the tube well is producing 1800 gallons of water per hour and after all the projects have been completed, a total of 1300 people from 250 households will be available purified drinking water in all seasons, according to an official.
