A ceremony to donate oxygen cylinders and flow meters to Mohnyin People’s Hospital was held at the meeting hall of the District General Administration Department this morning with an opening speech by Deputy Commissioner U Khin Maung Lay.

The donations were collectively made by departmental personnel at the township and district level in the region.

At the event, the Deputy Commissioner handed over K 2.502 million and the Township Administrator U Ye Aung, K 2.085 million to Dr, Kyaw Zin Tun of the hospital. The donations will be spent on the purchase of oxygen cylinders and flow meters for the hospital.

Mohnyin People’s Hospital is a 100-bed one where some 100 in-patients receive medical treatment per day.—Kyaw Kyaw Htwe
