Arrangements have been made to supply electricity to Ginyemyaung village, Minhla Township, Thayet District, Magway Region. The project will cover about 168 households in the village.
The construciton of 33.4 KV/200 KVA transformer and installation of 2,350 feet long power line with 33.4 KV and other 3,650 feet long power line with 400 V were implemented with K 11 million by Emerald Green Project and K 50.2 million contributed by the public. Accordingly, the village will find itself with 24-hour electricity, according to U Min Zaw Han from the Township Department of Rural Development.
The project will contribute a great deal to village’s education, health care services, social affairs and economics. In addition, it can prevent deforestation in the region, said U Sein Aung Min, one of the local people.
