The Deputy Director of the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Aye Naing and his entourage inspected developmental tasks in rural area in Htantabin Township, Bago Region this morning.

They looked into progress of improvement for gravel and earthen roads being upgraded by the DRD under its Village Development Plan in three separate villages in Htantabin Township. Ks. 140 million was allocated to 14 villages in the township to implement the Village Development Plan in the fiscal year 2018-2019.

The projects will be undertaken with the participation of local people in a harmonious manner, according to a source from the DRD.—Hein Htet (Bago)
