Zalun 28 December
With the aim of distributing purified drinking water to rural people in Changyiywathit village, Zalun Township, Ayeyawady Region, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing water supply project in the village. On 28 December, the officials inspected the completion of the project in the village.
The officials inspected digging a 400 ft deep tube well, construction of a water plant and a water tanker and related works and urged the members of village water distribution committee to meet the set standard within the target date.
The project was conducted with K 17 million allocated by funds of Union through the cooperation between engineers from the Department and local people starting from fourth week of May. Now, all have been completed by 95 percent. Upon completion, a total of 394 people from 94 households in the village will be available purified drinking water in all seasons, according to the official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
