A combined team consisting of members of Kayin State police force searched suspected men, identified as Htet Ko Ko and Wei Lin Tun in ward-4 in the town of Myawaddy at about 4:15 pm on December 28 and seized 3.78 Kilos of ICE from them.

In a similar incident, a combined team stopped a Mark II vehicle driven by Wei Phyo with Si Thu Win on board near Kyaukkyaw Village in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region and confiscated 175500 stimulant tablets in a fuel tank drawer.

After making some interrogations, a combined team arrested a culprit, identified as Min Thu in Myanmar Pyi Thar Village in Pyin Oo Lwin Township at about 6:00 pm on December 26. The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MNA
