Awarding ceremony of the inter-school men’s football tournament in 2023-2024 academic year organized by the Department of Education was held at 4:00 pm at the football ground in Ward-2 in Shanywarthit sub-Township, Hpa-an District of Kayin State yesterday.

During the ceremony, the Town Administrator U Naing Win Aung, assistant staff officer of Hlaingbwe Township Education officer’s office U Kyi Yin and departmental officials awarded the top goal scorer prize, the best striker prize, the best midfielder prize, the best defender prize, the best goalkeeper prize, the first, second and third trophies of the tournament, individual medals and cash awards and the best player award of the tournament to relevant players and teams respectively.

The inter-school men’s football tournament 2024 match was held with 12 teams from six schools in the sub-Township starting from January 5 to 8 this year. —Zin Lay(IPRD)
