Projects already put in place by the Rural Development Department in Kawhmu Township in Yangon Region were handed over to the respective departments on 22 February.

“The department developed the projects and all these projects were handed over to the respective departments got involved in sustainable development and maintenance of these projects” said U Kyaw Nyi Nyi Tun, project manager of the Rural Development Department.

The projects implemented by the rural development department include 18 projects for health affairs, three for education affairs, eight for installation of electricity and one for construction of library.
