The firefighters from the Fire Services Department conducted an awareness campaign on fire prevention in Myoma Market in Mabein, Northern Shan State on 26 February morning in conjunction with a fire drill.

First, officials from the FSD explained the purpose of the drill. Firefighters demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers and conducted a fire drill with the use of fire engines, water tankers and fire extinguishers. The deputy township administrator, members of the township municipality and residents took part in the simulation.
