State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi attended the celebrations to mark the 35th National Day of Brunei Darussalam and 25th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 


 It was also attended by Union ministers U Kyaw Tint Swe, U Win Khaing, Dr. Myo Thein Gyi and U Thaung Tun, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam Mr. Pehin Dato Abdu’r Rahmani Dato Basir and wife, invited guests and officials.

 


Upon arrival at the reception, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was welcomed by Ambassador Mr. Pehin Dato Abdu’r Rahmani Dato Basir and wife.

 


 Afterwards, Brunei Ambassador Mr. Pehin Dato Abdu’r Rahmani Dato Basir and wife presented a bouquet to the State Counsellor.

 


 Afterwards, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi signed the visitor’s book of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam.

 


 The ceremony to mark the 35th National Day of Brunei Darussalam and 25th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and Myanmar was opened with the national anthem of Myanmar and Brunei.

 


 Afterwards, Brunei Ambassador Mr. Pehin Dato Abdu’r Rahmani Dato Basir extended greetings.

 


 Next, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi extended greetings in commemoration of the 35th National Day of Brunei Darussalam and 25th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations between Brunei Darussalam and Myanmar.

 


Afterwards, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi posed for documentary photos together with the invited guests and enjoyed the dinner.—MNA
