Putao, 28 February

A traditional loom course conducted by Putao Township Rural Development Department wrapped up at Parkhee village, Marmuulai village-tract, Putao Township, Kachin State this morning. 

At the ceremony, Head of Putao District Rural Development Department U Saw Thiha and Putao Township Administrator U Thant Zin delivered an opening remark and then presented certificates of honors and cash prizes. Head of Putao Township Rural Development Department awarded the completion certificates to the trainees. The course aims to create job opportunities for the local residents.

The course was attended by 30 trainees from Putao Township from 29 January to 27 February. The main topics of the course were Lisu and Yawan traditional loom methods–Min Myint Mo
