The closing of a basic tailoring course, conducted by the Department of Small Scale Industry under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, took place at a religious building in Thinpontan Village, Sittway in Rakhine State this morning.
Firstly, Rakhine State lawmaker U Aye Thein gave a concluding address. Next, the legislator, the chairperson of the township women’s affairs organization, Township Administrator U Soe Thet Swe and Principal of the vocational training school Daw Thet Hnin Phyo presented prizes to three outstanding trainees. Afterwards, the chairperson of the township women’s affairs organization and a local official presented completion certificates to the trainees.
A total of 20 trainees have been given practical and theoretical training during one-month course. The prize winners were also awarded with sewing machine each.—Tin Tun (IPRD)
