All Myanmar Tamil Hindu Foundation (Central)-AMTHF held 19th festival of harvest and to honour farmers at Thuwunna Bumi Event Park in Yangon yesterday.

 


Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, Yangon Mayor U Muang Maung Soe, Director-General U Moe Zaw Shwe of the Department for the Promotion And Propagation of Sasana, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar and officials from AMTHF first cut the ribbons to open the ceremony, and lighted oil lamps.

 


Afterwards, Chairman U Thein Lwin of All Myanmar Tamil Hindu Foundation (Central)-AMTHF delivered a greeting speech, and followed by a congratulatory speech of Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thien.

 


Director-General U Moe Zaw Shwe of the Department for the Promotion And Propagation of Sasana also delivered a speech, and general secretary U Chit Win of AMTHF explained the foundation’s works with Tamil language.

 


The ceremony was also attended by embassies in Myanmar’s ambassadors and officials, members of the AMTHF and the Interfaith Group, invited guests and Tamils.
