Myanmar’s table tennis team achieved im­pressive results at the Butterfly & SISB Thai­land Table Tennis Open and secured one gold medal and two silver medals in the competition. The tournament took place in Bangkok, Thai­land, from 31 July to 7 August.

 

In the individual U-40 Open category, My­anmar's Ko Kyi Myint won a silver medal, while in the U-50 Open category, he continued his strong performance by clinching a gold medal. Additionally, Aung Myint Myat excelled in the U-19 Open category, where he earned a silver medal.

 

A total of ten players represented Myan­mar at the Butterfly & SISB Thailand Table Tennis Open, demonstrating the country's growing prowess in the sport. The team's achievements underscore their competitive spirit and skill on the international stage. — Arkar Linn/KZL
