The opening ceremony of a fish farming course including the hatching technique took place at a State-owned hatchery in Thayawady, Bago Region this morning.
The course was conducted by the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. Firstly, an official from the Department of Fisheries made an opening speech and explained the purpose of the course. Next, Daw Moe Thidar, in-charge of the hatchery from Okpho Township taught practical and theoretical training to the trainees.
The three-day vocational training course is being attended by 30 trainees in the township, according to the Department of Fisheries.—Thant Zaw (IPRD)
