The Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation opened a welding training course in Chauk, Magway Region yesterday.
    

On the occasion, officials from the DRD gave an opening speech and explained the purpose of the course. According to the DRD official, the course aims to create better job opportunities for rural people and improve their socioeconomic status.
    

A total of 25 trainees throughout the township will be given practical and theatrical training by a course instructor during the 10-day vocational course.—Kyaw Moe (IPRD)
