A man who was carrying narcotic drugs was arrested on a road leading to “ Namachi “ jade mine in Mawhan area, Mohnyin Township, Kachin state yesterday, according to local police station.

Police members from Anti-Drug Squad-3 led by Police Inspector Myo Min Tun and Aung Paing together with witnesses intercepted and searched a motorbike driven by Aung Lwin who was suspected of carrying illegal drugs.
 

The search led to the discovery of 200 stimulant tablets and 10 grams of white-yellow powder believed to be heroin from Aung Lwin. 

Aung Lwin was charged with possession of illegal drugs, according to Mohnyin Myoma police station, it is learnt.— Vo Jang
