YANGON Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) will conduct a gold training course (34th Batch) for free at its office located at No 42/50 on Shwebontha Street, Pabedan Township, from 1 to 10 October.
The YGEA will also provide an awareness course (17th Batch) on anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/ CFT course).
The respective experts will disseminate education and knowledge about gold mining, gold refining, gold trading, basic calculations to run a gold shop, goldsmith, gold mortgage, gold rate calculation, gold/silver coins and jewellery.

The precious metal dealers’ licences can be sought only with the completion certificate of the AML/CFT course, according to Chapter 2 Section 3 (G) of Directive 2/2022 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Central Body on Anti-Money Laundering. — NN/KK
