A group of officials from the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation inspected rural development tasks in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region on 4 March.

DRD officials led by Deputy Director U Zaw Min Thaik looked into construction of a concrete road which is 1200 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and 6 inch thick and waste management measures in Pale Village. They also checked out construction of concrete roads, brick water tank and installation of a water pipeline and water tank in separate locations.

They were briefed about work progress by concerned officials. The tasks are being carried out by the DRD under its Village Development Plan.—Min Myint Mo (Ngazun)
