A pre-match press conference for the AFC U-17 Championship Group I, set to be held in Vietnam in 2025, took place on 22 October. Head coach U Aung Zaw Myo of the Myanmar team, as well as coaches from Yemen, Vietnam, and Kyrgyzstan, attended the event.

Head coach U Aung Zaw Myo stated, “Before the tournament, we played two friendly matches against the Qatar U-17 team in Doha, winning one and losing the other. After the ASEAN tournament, we made several tactical adjustments to the team. We also have senior school players in our squad. We respect our competitors in the group and will do our best to achieve a good result”.

Group I consists of Yemen, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, and Myanmar. Myanmar will face Yemen today at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time, followed by a match between the host team Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan at 6:30 pm. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
