THE Myanmar rowing team, led by Myanmar Rowing Federation Chairman U Thaung Htike Min, departed yesterday morning from Yangon International Airport to compete in the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Cup and the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships. These events will be held from 24 October to 3 November in Yichang, China, and Puerto Princesa, the Philippines.

Officials from the Department of Sports and Physical Education, along with representatives from the Myanmar Rowing Federation, bid farewell to the team at the airport. The team includes Chairman U Thaung Htike Min as the head of the delegation, Secretary U Thet Lwin, Coach U Phone Myint Tayza, and ten athletes, totalling 13 members. — Arkar Lin/KZL
