General Tun Aung decorated all graduate officers with pilot wings individually and presented the model pilot award to Air 4544 Lt Hset Naing Lwin and the excellent award in studies to Air 4588 Lt Yuzana Tun from the 86th intake of the pilot course.

On behalf of the SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, General Tun Aung delivered a speech. He said: The Government has set great expectations, investing considerable time, resources, and finances in training to become pilots. Hence, pilots should value themselves and strive to realize the expectations of the State and Tatmadaw.

The tasks assigned, whether in combat operations, training, administration, or other responsibilities, can only be successfully carried out with a strong and resilient mindset. Those who will operate aircraft and helicopters for combat missions must always maintain a high level of combat readiness and determination. They must strive to develop a robust and positive mental attitude, building confidence and belief, to effectively fulfil their duties.

Myanmar Tatmadaw pilots must fully comply with the laws, regulations, orders, and directives issued by the government and Tatmadaw, as well as the local orders, procedures, and practices. They must also strictly adhere to the aviation regulations and standards.

As they have been entrusted pilot wings to serve assigned duties of combat and training missions, alongside their senior pilots, not only will they be responsible for their assigned aviation tasks, but they will also be expected to perform other duties effectively and proficiently.

The pilots have to serve their assigned duties with the sacrifices and struggles endured by all members of the Tatmadaw (Air) as role models, and it is crucial to emphasize that each pilot should strive to become a capable aviator trusted by the nation and Tatmadaw, dedicating all their efforts and talents to this mission.

General Tun Aung greeted instructor pilots who saluted him in formations of aircraft. He spoke words of honour to graduate officers who secured outstanding awards and their parents in the training at the Flying Training Base.
