THE Myanmar Fight traditional boxing tournament, organized by the Department of Sports and Physical Education, the Myanmar Traditional Boxing Federation and MMAG Company will take place at 1 pm on 8 April at the Theinbyu Gymnasium in Yangon. Fighters from various clubs will compete in the event.
The tournament will feature 10 bouts of three rounds where Thai fighters will compete against Myanmar opponents.
The event is open to the public free of charge and Skynet TV will broadcast it live. With sponsorship from a Union of Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Company Ltd, the Myanmar Traditional Boxing Federation and MMAG Company plan to hold these tournaments regularly every month. — Arkar Linn/KZL
