THE Ministry of Transport and Communications held a ceremony to release fin­gerlings into the Ngalaiky­aba diversion weir, located west of the Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee of­fice, yesterday.

State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Min­ister for Transport and Com­munications General Mya Tun Oo and his wife, deputy ministers and their wives, de­partmental officials and their wives, and staff attended the ceremony.

The General, his wife, and officials first released the fin­gerlings into the Ngalaikyaba weir. Attendees then released a total of 9,000 fingerlings into the weir. — MNA/KTZH
