JUNIOR Lions kicked off their Myanmar National League (MNL) U-21 Youth League campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Falcon on 27 April at South Dagon Ground.

In a clash of Myanmar’s youth national teams, both sides played out a goalless first half before finding the breakthrough after the restart. Junior Lions, coached by a Japanese manager secured all three points with goals from Sai Moe Han at 72 minutes and Khant Win Aung seven minutes later. Falcon pulled one back deep into stoppage time through Myo Khant Kyaw at 90+2 minute, but it was too late to change the outcome.
