YOUNG Lionesses defeated Yangon Royal 2-1, securing their second consecutive win on the third matchday of the 2025–2026 Myanmar Women’s League held on 1 May at Padonma Stadium.
Ingyin Khaing scored the opening goal for the Young Lionesses in 20 minutes, but San San Htway equalized for Yangon Royal in 38 minutes, ending the first half at 1-1.
Both teams pressed for the win in the second half, and Nway Nway sealed the victory for the Young Lionesses with a decisive goal in 68 minutes.
After this match, the Young Lionesses have earned six points from three games, while Yangon Royal have yet to register a point after suffering two straight defeats.
