DEPUTY Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein inspected the quake-affected offices of affiliated departments in Mandalay and Sagaing regions yesterday.
The Deputy Prime Minister first met the staff of affiliated departments from Sagaing, Amarapura and Mandalay. During the meeting, he inspected the accommodation and office conditions of the staff and instructed them to solve the difficulties together like family members, cooperate with the officials at different levels and encourage the staff who faced losses. He also reviewed the Regional Revenue Department Office, Regional Customs Office, Financial Regulatory Department, Myanmar Investment and Commercial Bank, Chanayethazan Revenue Department Office, regional Pension Department and MTO (5). Union Minister U Win Shein comforted the staff and provided them with cash and commodities. — MNA/KTZH
